Job Manufacturing Engineering Quality Manching Programmes (d/f/m) (Aerospace)

Location: Manching, Germany; occasional business travel required. Mobile working and flexible working arrangements are supported where possible.

What you will do

• Develop a proactive quality mindset and right-first-time, zero-defect practices within Manufacturing Engineering.
• Implement quality standards and define quality requirements for the industrialization of new products.
• Create and maintain procedures, support QMS implementation, and act as Process Owner for FU.IN.03.
• Manage quality performance through audits, surveillance, KPIs, maturity assessments, and quality gates.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, error prevention, and lessons learned after non-conformances.
• Improve process adherence, robustness, and maintainability across manufacturing industrialization.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Many years of experience in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of preventive quality tools, Core Tools, QMS, and aircraft quality methodologies.
• Experience with Manufacturing Engineering and industrialization processes, preferably in aerospace.
• Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and demonstrate proactive teamwork, influence, and empathy.
• English and German are mandatory in written and spoken form.
