Primary Flight Control Designer (f/m)

Location: Toulouse, France; onsite role.

Airbus develops commercial aircraft and aerospace systems, including integrated flight control systems.

What you will do

• Specify primary flight computers using formal specification tools such as SCADE.
• Integrate flight control laws and Automatic Flight Systems.
• Define and manage interfaces between primary flight control computers and navigation, display, and warning systems.
• Contribute to tools, methods, and specification rules for primary flight control computer design.
• Write simulation, laboratory, and flight test requirements and track progress.
• Perform safety analyses and produce technical evidence for certification compliance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Flight Control Systems design or complex system engineering.
• Strong technical background in Matlab and Simulink.
• Sound knowledge of aeronautics, Overall Aircraft Design, and advanced automation principles.
• Experience defining test requirements, performing system safety analyses, and preparing certification dossiers.
• Negotiation-level English.

Nice to have

• Experience using SCADE.
• Proficiency in French, German, or Spanish.
