ATR - Internship 2027 - Impact of Input Errors on Takeoff Performance and Prototyping of an Algorithm for Detection (Aeronautics)

What you will do

• Analyze EASA TOPMS events and their impact on hirify.global aircraft takeoff performance.
• Identify input errors involving aircraft weight, atmospheric conditions, and other parameters.
• Evaluate the effect of input errors on takeoff distances and key performance parameters.
• Define the data and parameters required to estimate expected takeoff performance.
• Implement initial algorithm blocks to detect differences between expected and observed performance.
• Run initial computations on representative cases in collaboration with aircraft, engine, and systems teams.

Requirements

• Engineering student or equivalent education specializing in aeronautics.
• Final-year internship at Bac+5 or equivalent level.
• Knowledge of aircraft performance and flight mechanics.
• Knowledge of modeling and data analysis.
• Analytical mindset, scientific rigor, autonomy, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluent French and/or English required. Knowledge of Python is strongly appreciated.
