Summer Intern, Undergraduate Finance Innovation & Technology (FIT) - New York, 2027

Location: 1166 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10036-2708, United States. Hybrid work with at least three days per week in the local office or onsite with clients.

Salary: $30 per hour; the final hourly rate is determined based on experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education.

What you will do

• Develop technology solutions for complex finance issues and implement tools that improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Translate business problems into technical solutions using data, automation, analytics, and modeling.
• Support finance transformation initiatives through project coordination, organization, and execution.
• Prepare status updates, track workstreams, coordinate delivery, and manage expectations across multiple stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver results, insights, and resolutions to key stakeholders.
• Work within a Finance group and build experience in project delivery, stakeholder management, and technology-enabled innovation.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Financial Operations, Management, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, with expected graduation by Spring 2028.
• Interest in finance, technology, innovation, analytics, automation, modeling, and technology-enabled finance solutions.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Python, or similar tools for data analysis and project work.
• Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and a structured approach.
• Ability to prepare status updates, track workstreams, coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders, and support complex initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build relationships and communicate clearly with project teams and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining governance, controls, and attention to execution.
• Agility, adaptability, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with data analysis, process automation, software development, project delivery, or PMO support.
