Early Careers - Finance Intern

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid schedule with a minimum of three office days per week

Base pay range: $19.13–$34.17 per hour

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, maintain, and report on budget, expense, and financial performance data.
• Use analytical and forecasting techniques to prepare monthly and annual reports for Internal Operations.
• Rotate across operating divisions and provide real-time financial analysis and support to analyst teams.
• Research information, develop recommendations, and support decisions through project deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to initiatives improving business and member outcomes.
• Present the internship project, results, and recommendations to department leadership.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree as a rising senior in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Available for a 10-week summer internship from June through August.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required; the program is not currently available to students on a visa.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, prioritization, and PC skills, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Prior related internship or work experience.

• Interest in the health insurance industry or a career in finance or accounting.
