Location: Hybrid, Rahway, New Jersey, United States; US and Puerto Rico residents only

Salary: $117,000–$184,200 annually, plus potential annual bonus and long-term incentive

What you will do

• Coordinate development resources and activities across DEV, UAT, and PRD environments.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for Empower configuration, integration, and validation in manufacturing environments.
• Configure and maintain LACE hardware and images, including Windows 11 and Empower client installations.
• Develop and maintain interfaces with GLIMS, AHLIMS, and NuGenesis.
• Perform SDLC activities, including system documentation, SOPs, and IQ/OQ validation protocols.
• Communicate with the Global Empower Team and build partnerships with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, scientific, technology, engineering, and/or mathematics field.
• More than 3 years of technical experience with Waters Empower CDS in a multi-site enterprise environment.
• Empower Administration experience covering CDS concepts, ICOP drivers, method troubleshooting, client-server installations, user management, security, and data workflows.
• Strong understanding of chromatography instruments and laboratory workflows.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and cGMP practices.
• Experience influencing without direct authority, navigating complex or matrix organizations, networking, and forming partnerships with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
• Knowledge of applied engineering, asset management, benefits management, biochemical analysis, biochemical assays and tests, healthcare innovation, management system development, mechatronics, multi-site management, product lifecycle, product management, requirements management, stakeholder relationship management, strategic planning, system design, SDLC, and systems documentation.

Nice to have

• Certification in Empower Administration.
• Experience with PowerShell or a similar programming language.
