Senior Full Stack Engineer (Vue.js)

Location: Chantilly, VA, United States; on-site. Active TS or higher security clearance required.

Target salary: $160,000–$200,000 per year, depending on education, experience, certifications, and position-specific requirements.

What you will do

• Lead full-stack architecture, application modernization, and the design and development of scalable web applications across frontend and backend technologies.
• Guide enterprise technology integration across application environments and support integration across application, data, and infrastructure components.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, interoperability, and troubleshooting of complex application environments.
• Guide secure development practices, support DevSecOps and CI/CD methodologies, and establish development standards across teams.
• Support Kubernetes-based environments, Terraform infrastructure as code, GitLab CI/CD, JFrog Artifactory, AWS cloud services, and custom-developed data pipelines.
• Build and support data ingestion and ETL workflows using Python, Cribl, Apache NiFi, PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, and Splunk, including parsing, normalization, schema alignment, provenance, and end-to-end data lineage.

Requirements

• Active TS or higher security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience with modern frontend frameworks, backend technologies, APIs, and relational and non-relational databases.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, system integration, and scalable application design.
• Experience with secure development practices, DevSecOps methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in database design, performance optimization, and application troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and establish development standards across teams.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience supporting federal, defense, intelligence, or highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, containerization, and microservices platforms.
• Experience addressing cross-domain or cross-enclave interoperability challenges.
• Expertise in zero-trust architectures and secure enterprise application development.
• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies, software architecture, cybersecurity, or Agile development.
