Associate Director, Business Intelligence

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with attendance 8 days per month. Candidates may be required to attend onsite interviews at a hirify.global office.

What you will do

• Partner with Revenue Operations leadership to identify critical business questions and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
• Design and build executive dashboards, scorecards, reporting, and analytical products that expose performance, risk, and opportunity.
• Lead BI initiatives from requirements and solution design through development, deployment, adoption, optimisation, and continuous improvement.
• Build and optimise data models, semantic layers, queries, and ETL/ELT workflows across multiple source systems.
• Define and standardise KPIs, business definitions, calculation logic, reporting methodologies, data quality controls, documentation, lineage, and auditability.
• Enable self-service analytics, simplify the reporting landscape, provide technical guidance, and partner with Sales, Finance, FP&A, Accounting, IT, and Data Engineering.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in BI, analytics, data strategy, Revenue Operations, or Commercial Operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Data Technology, Accounting, or Finance.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Data 360, Snowflake, and data lakes.
• Strong experience with BI platforms, enterprise data, SQL, data modelling, semantic layers, and ETL/ELT.
• Hands-on BI development and proven success independently delivering complex, high-impact BI solutions end to end.
• Experience creating executive dashboards, visualisations, analytical storytelling, and actionable recommendations.
• Experience with data governance, quality, controls, and metric definition.
• Ability to partner with senior business leaders, influence without authority, communicate clearly with executives, adapt to ambiguity, and deliver with limited oversight.

Nice to have

• Experience with CCH Tagetik or an equivalent planning platform.
