Director, HRBP - Discovery & Medical

Location: On-site at a Discovery and Medical site in EMEA or at Marlborough, USA; ability to travel 30% within EMEA and to other relevant global sites.

What you will do

• Shape and deliver people strategy aligned with business growth, productivity, and enterprise priorities.
• Advise and coach senior leaders on people, organizational, and business decisions.
• Lead organization design, workforce planning, critical-role planning, capability-gap analysis, and future-skills development.
• Drive talent development, succession planning, leadership capability, engagement, inclusion, and performance accountability.
• Lead organizational change and business transformation, managing adoption, risks, and dependencies through HR partners.
• Use people data, business metrics, technology, and external insights to demonstrate business impact; partner with Legal, Finance, People Partners, Centers of Excellence, and HR Shared Services on complex people matters.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree and 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Experience in strategic HR business partnering, organizational effectiveness, and change leadership.
• Ability to advise senior leaders and translate business needs into practical people solutions.
• Demonstrated success in talent and leadership development, succession planning, and capability building.
• Strong business and financial acumen, data fluency, and experience using digital, analytics, or AI-enabled tools to guide decisions and measure outcomes.
• Continuous improvement mindset with familiarity with lean principles and structured problem solving.
• Ability to travel 30% within EMEA and across other relevant global sites as required.
