Engineer 1: Cloud Engineering (Hybrid - Seattle, WA)

Location: Hybrid; must work onsite at hirify.global's headquarters in Seattle, WA, a minimum of 4 days per week.

Salary: $104,500–$162,500 annual.

What you will do

• Implement and promote cloud technologies that comply with engineering and security standards.
• Build secure self-service tooling for AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI offerings used by application teams.
• Operate and provide operational support for cloud platforms at enterprise scale.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams and contribute to project work.
• Participate in a shared on-call rotation supporting critical cloud services and platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including knowledge of security, networking, and IAM best practices.
• Proficiency in Python and ability to write clean, reusable, and testable code.
• Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools for deployment automation and infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with monitoring, telemetry, and alerting tools such as New Relic.
• Proactive approach to monitoring, maintaining, and improving system performance and availability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, and organization skills, with comfort working on team projects.
• Desire to learn Systems and Security Engineering.
