Product Lead (AI)

Location: New York, United States; hybrid work

Salary: $170,000–$400,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for DeployCo’s internal AI-native platform.
• Embed with Delivery, Finance, People, Sales, and Operations teams to redesign workflows around AI and automation.
• Build connected experiences for staffing, resourcing, financial operations, recruiting, sales, and pipeline management.
• Partner with engineers and designers to ship high-quality products while making tradeoffs across scope, sequencing, usability, and reliability.
• Shape platform data, reporting, security, and access controls so teams and leaders can rely on accurate information and appropriate permissions.
• Drive adoption and continuous improvement using feedback and measures such as time saved, workflow completion, data accuracy, and usage.

Requirements

• Track record of building excellent products that deliver meaningful value to users, including hands-on experience building AI-powered or agentic applications.
• Ability to set long-term product direction while staying close to execution and product details.
• Strong user empathy and a high bar for product craft, with the ability to simplify complex workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Figma, SQL, and Git, plus using tools such as Codex to prototype ideas and test assumptions.
• Technical fluency with data models, integrations, permissions, and system tradeoffs.
• Ability to use data to investigate problems and measure results.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical partners, including building alignment around priorities and tradeoffs.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity, take initiative, and turn a broad mandate into shipped products that teams adopt and rely on.
