Workday Integration Lead

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end Workday integration landscape across Financials, HCM, Payroll, Prism Analytics, and Adaptive Planning.
• Monitor integration health, investigate ServiceNow incidents, fix root causes, and implement proactive alerting and error handling.
• Manage integration security, including Integration System Users, security groups, API clients, credential rotation, SFTP, and PGP encryption.
• Lead Workday integration projects from requirements gathering and solution design through build, testing, parallel runs, and cutover.
• Direct the integration work of AMS partners, contractors, and third-party vendors while collaborating with Finance, People & Culture, and Technology.
• Set integration standards, maintain documentation and change control, shape the integration roadmap, and contribute to enterprise architecture discussions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and building Workday integrations.
• Current Workday Integrations certification.
• Experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, Reports-as-a-Service, and BIRT.
• Strong working knowledge of Workday SOAP and REST APIs, XML, XSLT, JSON, SFTP, and PGP encryption.
• Solid understanding of Workday Financials, HCM, Payroll, and Adaptive Planning data structures and business processes.
• Experience leading the integration workstream on Workday implementations or major enhancement projects from design through go-live.
• A rigorous approach to testing, documentation, version control, and change management.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills, including explaining technical trade-offs to non-technical audiences and holding partners and vendors accountable.

• Experience with Workday Orchestrate, Extend, Prism Analytics, and Accounting Center.
