Manager, Global Payroll

Location: Remote within the UK. The role is remote-first, with occasional in-person work and an in-person onboarding experience.

Base pay: £88,000–£136,000 per year.

What you will do

• Process UK and Spain payroll, with responsibility expanding to additional EU countries.
• Collaborate with People Operations, People Technology, Benefits, Legal, Accounting, and Finance on payroll-impacting processes.
• Process RSU and ESPP earnings and taxation, garnishments, and levies.
• Support payroll-related month-end close, audits, compliance procedures, and annual financial statement testing.
• Conduct year-end reporting and respond to employee questions about pay and benefits.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of international payroll experience, focused on EMEA countries.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and training.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, research, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong knowledge of systems and data flows, with the ability to learn new software and process flows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across employee and leadership audiences.
• Self-motivated, flexible, deadline-oriented, and comfortable working with limited supervision in an ambiguous environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with systems migration and integration.
• Knowledge of NetSuite or Workday.
