System Engineering Manager (Industrial Steam Turbines)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Auxiliary Systems engineering team while promoting continuous improvement and safety.
• Manage resource allocation, work prioritization, and capacity planning for service engineering projects and customer requests.
• Conduct performance reviews, set individual goals, and support professional development.
• Oversee the design, modification, lifecycle support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of auxiliary systems for industrial steam turbines.
• Review and approve technical documentation, design modifications, and engineering solutions for complex service cases.
• Collaborate with Mods & Upgrades and Tech Support and act as a technical escalation point for critical customer issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or team coordinator role within the power generation or turbomachinery industry.
• Strong knowledge of steam turbine auxiliary systems and experience in an industrial setting.
• Fluent English in written and spoken communication.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent leadership certification.
• Swedish proficiency for local team integration.
