Network Infrastructure Delivery Manager

Location: 138 Cauldwell Street, Bedford, United Kingdom; onsite role.

What you will do

• Oversee contracted vendors delivering the design, implementation, testing, and documentation of connected systems supporting attractions, back-of-house facilities, and front-of-house facilities.
• Lead infrastructure design and prepare plans for data centers and critical environments, including racks, cable management, copper, and fiber optic cabling.
• Inspect vendor work, coordinate acceptance testing and certification verification, and connect engineering, technical services, AV, network, and infrastructure stakeholders.
• Use UPT standards, Creative OPS requirements, and local building codes to support refurbishments and new construction projects.
• Maintain project scheduling and budget inputs and work with vendors and partners on cost-saving approaches.
• Ensure security, growth, safety, redundancy, reliability, sustainability, and high availability are addressed in infrastructure designs.

Requirements

• Technical leadership experience in infrastructure and/or data center operations.
• Experience and strong knowledge of telecom design, structured cabling standards, and related systems.
• Experience managing mid- to large-scale facility design and build-outs, preferably for campus-style locations or corporate headquarters and branch models.
• Experience designing cable management and fiber distribution standards and systems.
• Experience installing equipment according to electrical codes and grounding regulations, including utilization projections, spikes, and ranges.
• Knowledge of planning and installing data center and critical-environment racks, cable management, copper, and fiber optic cabling.
• Knowledge of compute and networking devices and their deployments.
• Strong knowledge of MEP standards and operations, including the ability to perform BTU calculations and heat-load projections.
• Strong understanding of earthing and grounding systems, including testing and verification; strong analytical, organizational, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and within an infrastructure team.
• Advanced MS Office skills, including PowerPoint and Visio, plus Bluebeam and AutoCAD.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
