Customer Quality Intern (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Support KGD product mass-production quality for China optical module customers, including SMT bumping application support and first-level failure analysis.
• Receive, document, and preliminarily analyze customer quality complaints and return information under supervision.
• Cooperate with engineers on 8D reports and collect production records, inspection data, and related information.
• Collate customer quality data and help prepare monthly customer quality reports.
• Maintain customer quality documents, including quality agreements and customer-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Microelectronics, Materials, Mechanical Engineering, or a related science and engineering field.
• Good logical thinking and problem-analysis skills.
• Serious and responsible work attitude, strong learning ability, and communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in using Office software.
• Applicants must be eligible to access export-controlled information under applicable U.S. export control laws; an export license review may be required before employment.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of quality management tools such as 8D and 5Why.
• Knowledge of semiconductor packaging and testing processes.
