SAP Principal Application Consultant / Project Manager (Finance)

What you will do

• Lead SAP implementation projects, strategic initiatives, and consulting engagements focused on SAP Finance and SAP Cloud solutions.
• Own project delivery, governance, scope, timelines, budgets, quality, risks, dependencies, resources, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate functional, technical, global, and multidisciplinary delivery teams while facilitating workshops, decision-making, and stakeholder management.
• Advise clients on SAP Cloud adoption, ERP modernization, finance transformation, process harmonization, reporting modernization, compliance, and internal controls.
• Support account development, proposals, estimations, statements of work, business cases, sales, and pre-sales activities in the Nordic market.
• Coach consultants and project team members and contribute to delivery methodologies, consulting capabilities, and hirify.global’s SAP Cloud practice in Sweden and the Nordics.

Requirements

• Typically 10–15+ years of SAP consulting and project delivery experience.
• University degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proven experience leading SAP implementation projects and business transformation initiatives.
• Extensive hands-on SAP Finance experience, including several of SAP FI, CO, Group Reporting, Asset Accounting, Treasury, Cash Management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Controlling, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Financial Planning.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Record-to-Report, Financial Closing, Management Reporting, and Financial Governance processes.
• Extensive experience with SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA Finance across multiple industries.
• Strong understanding of SAP Activate, SAP best practices, and modern SAP delivery methodologies.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, planning, facilitation, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Customer-oriented mindset, ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on project leadership and functional consulting, and comfort working in international and multicultural environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP ERP Cloud, including SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and Private Cloud deployments.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud or Private Cloud implementations.
