Full Stack Engineer (Backend)

Location: Remote across Europe, Ireland, Poland, the United Kingdom, and the United States; exceptional candidates elsewhere may be considered. Remote work or access to offices in Dublin, London, New York, San Francisco, and Warsaw.

What you will do

• Build and improve workspaces and user-management capabilities, including API keys, login, analytics, admin tooling, and workspace security.
• Design and build generic resource and permissioning services used by product engineering teams.
• Deliver customer-facing features end to end across backend services, admin interfaces, and settings UIs.
• Work with Sales, FDEs, customer teams, and product teams to translate customer and engineering needs into scalable improvements.
• Scope changes within a large existing system, assess rollout risks and migrations, and account for downstream team impact.
• Safely roll out, debug, and operate business-critical systems using customer reports, logs, and code.

Requirements

• Expertise in Python.
• Strong backend development background with the ability to work across the stack when needed.
• Experience with common software and system design patterns and infrastructure, including APIs, cloud infrastructure tools, storage solutions, and data structures.
• Strong test design and security fundamentals.
• Care and attention to detail when changing live, business-critical systems.
• Ability to learn a large existing codebase quickly and work comfortably with ambiguity and competing priorities.
• Evidence of solving impressively hard problems through past projects or GitHub contributions.

Nice to have

• Experience with authentication, authorization, or permissioning, including OAuth, SSO/SCIM, RBAC, or similar technologies.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience building internal platforms or services used by other engineering teams.
