PR and Communications Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, hybrid

Salary: $170,000–$245,000 annually, plus equity

The company originated in Y Combinator and serves global enterprises, expanding from logistics into other operations-heavy industries.

What you will do

• Shape hirify.global's public perception through communications strategies, stories, and announcements.
• Build relationships with journalists, editors, and analysts across technology, business, logistics, and enterprise media.
• Package company news, product launches, and customer wins into pitches that secure meaningful media coverage.
• Work with founders and subject-matter experts to translate technical work into narratives for specific audiences, including enterprise operations leaders.
• Manage news and announcements across the blog, press, and email while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
• Prioritize speaking, podcast, and award opportunities; manage external PR support; and align PR moments with Content and Growth campaigns.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in PR, communications, or journalism, ideally with in-house experience at a B2B technology or AI company.
• A track record of securing meaningful, high-quality media coverage and existing relationships with relevant journalists and outlets.
• Excellent writing skills across press releases, pitches, executive talking points, and social content.
• Strong news judgment and the ability to identify and shape stories from technical or dense material.
• Ability to work independently and move quickly in a lean, fast-paced environment.
• Genuine interest in AI and how it is deployed and received by the world.

Nice to have

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, utilities, energy, telecommunications, insurance, airlines, or other industrial and operations-heavy enterprise verticals.
• Experience managing external PR agencies or freelance support.
• Familiarity with executive visibility programs, including speaking engagements, awards, and byline placement.
• Comfort using AI tools for drafting, research, and reporting.
