Director of Communications (AI)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Annual salary: $228,000–$266,000 USD, plus benefits, potential equity, and potential bonus.

What you will do

• Execute external communications strategy for hirify.global’s technology, products, and AI initiatives.
• Partner with product, growth marketing, content, leadership, and an external PR agency.
• Develop communications across traditional and new media, including Substack, podcasts, speaking opportunities, awards, and influencers.
• Expand thought leadership around AI, trust, privacy, data governance, and real-world technology applications.
• Build an engineering and product blog and support external events, brand marketing, and internal communications.
• Support internal alignment through communications moments such as monthly All Hands and company newsletters.

Requirements

• 10+ years of communications experience in-house, at an agency, or in a combination of both.
• Deep relationships across traditional and new media.
• Strong writing and communication skills with awareness of current news and media trends.
• Experience across both external and internal communications initiatives.
• Self-starter able to work across teams and drive alignment and clarity.
• Deep knowledge of AI, security, or public safety products.
