Factory Controller (Manufacturing)

Location: Hybrid (remote/office), Romania and Madrid, Spain

What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes and deliver accurate reports to factory leadership.
• Manage product costing structures, cost-benefit analyses, inventory valuations, waste analysis, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Advise Factory Management and coordinate annual budgeting and regular financial forecasting cycles.
• Monitor factory overheads, manufacturing variances, and CAPEX budgets.
• Develop financial models and business cases for capital investments and operational changes.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to validate productivity measures and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in financial controlling, with a strong focus on factory or manufacturing environments.
• Fluent English.
• Strong proficiency in SAP CO/FI modules and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, as well as Power BI or similar applications.
• Expertise in industrial cost accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and variance analysis.
• Excellent business partnering skills and experience with cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
