Associate Director, AI Product

Location: NSW, Australia; hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days from wherever works best

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders and teams to understand goals, customer needs, operational challenges and constraints, and facilitate workshops, interviews and demos.
• Identify business problems as AI product opportunities, hypotheses and experiments, then prototype solutions using no-code, low-code and coded approaches.
• Define product vision, strategy, roadmaps, requirements, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes.
• Work with platform product, engineering, data science and business teams on reusable capabilities, integrations, data requirements and platform improvements.
• Monitor adoption, engagement, quality, cost and business impact to improve products and guide future investment.
• Champion responsible AI and establish repeatable patterns, playbooks and practices for safe scaling across hirify.global.

Requirements

• Experience leading product strategy and delivery in a complex enterprise or highly regulated environment.
• Strong track record of leading senior-stakeholder engagements, aligning teams, making decisions and creating momentum.
• Hands-on experience exploring AI use cases through no-code, low-code and/or coded prototypes; understanding of how modern AI solutions are assembled and ability to work credibly with technical teams.
• Strong product discovery skills, including customer and user research, journey analysis, experimentation and value validation.
• Understanding of AI risk, privacy, security, governance, data and model limitations, with sound judgement to balance innovation and responsible delivery.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and influencing skills, with the ability to engage executives, business teams and technical specialists.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise AI platforms, copilots, agents and workflow automation.
• Experience with APIs, data flows, cloud services, prompt design, evaluation approaches or AI application patterns.
