Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Role

hirify.global operates an independent gaming and entertainment media network with 14 publications and a first-party data platform serving gaming audiences and brand partners.

What you will do

• Build and maintain a financial model based on key revenue and cost drivers for annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning.
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting with business leaders by developing assumptions, challenging inputs, and translating plans into financial targets.
• Develop business division P&Ls with consistent revenue and cost allocations, track profitability, and explain performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Analyse revenue trends, risks, and opportunities across programmatic advertising, social media, direct sales, syndication, and the upcoming subscription offering.
• Develop productivity and efficiency metrics linking costs and resources to output, quality, and commercial results.
• Connect financial and operational data with external accounting, third-party reporting tools, and internal stakeholders, turning analysis into recommendations on margins, resources, spending, and growth.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or financial modelling, including ownership of budgets and forecasts.
• Experience building financial models from the ground up, linking revenue and cost assumptions to business performance.
• Strong management reporting and profitability analysis skills, including business division P&Ls, cost allocations, and explaining variances against budget.
• Commercial experience translating financial and operational data into recommendations on productivity, spending, and growth.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, with the ability to build accurate, maintainable, and clear models.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including confidence working with international teams, challenging assumptions, and presenting findings to non-finance colleagues.
• An independent, hands-on approach, with the ability to bring structure to incomplete data and manage competing priorities.
