Finance Internship (FP&A)

Location: Lehi, Utah, United States; hybrid workplace

hirify.global operates an ecommerce business across marketplaces including Walmart.com, Target.com, eBay, Tmall, TikTok Shop, JD, and Mercado Libre.

What you will do

• Prepare financial analysis, reporting packages, forecasts, budgets, and supporting schedules.
• Model the impact of changes in revenue, expenses, profitability, and other key variables.
• Pull, clean, reconcile, and analyze financial and operational data from multiple sources.
• Perform variance analysis, investigate performance drivers, and summarize findings for the FP&A team.
• Build and improve dashboards and recurring reports, with a focus on scalability and automation.
• Own an internship project and present findings and recommendations to the FP&A team.

Requirements

• Junior or senior college student pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and their interconnections.
• Confident skills in Excel, VBA, Microsoft Office, and Google Sheets.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving, communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work with large volumes of data, protect confidential financial information, manage deadlines, and explain findings clearly.
• Collaborative attitude, receptiveness to feedback, and eagerness to learn.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud-based planning systems, NetSuite, and Tableau.
• Experience developing scalable financial reporting solutions.
