What you will do
- Process export shipment orders, log incoming documents, verify data, and distribute completed documentation.
- Coordinate cargo availability, pickup, delivery, billing, and the outbound movement of international freight shipments.
- Monitor shipment status reports, verify measurement standards, and report non-conformances proactively.
- Prepare export declarations and related Bills of Lading for ocean exports.
- Maintain operational tables, support accounting-related issues, and ensure communications are prompt and accurate.
- Establish rates and services with third-party carriers and perform RFI/RFQ activities as required.
Requirements
- Experience or knowledge in export logistics and international freight coordination.
- Knowledge of US Customs requirements and export documentation processes.
- Ability to coordinate shipment data entry, document distribution, cargo movements, and billing.
- Ability to monitor operational standards, identify non-conformances, and maintain accurate records.
- Knowledge of preparing export declarations and Bills of Lading for ocean exports.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of interpreting Letters of Credit.
