Principal Analog / Mixed-Signal Design Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Drive development of sophisticated mixed-signal circuits, including PLLs, power management units, and power clocking architectures, meeting stringent power and performance targets.
• Investigate and deploy energy recovery, charge-sharing, and other optimization techniques to reduce power consumption and improve computational efficiency.
• Direct characterization and maintenance of standard-cell libraries incorporating mixed-signal behavior.
• Provide expert oversight of layout design to minimize parasitics and leakage in sub-10nm process nodes.
• Execute high-sigma OCV analysis using hirify.global-specific library or industry-standard SPICE tools, including HSPICE and Spectre, to ensure robust operation and manufacturing yield.
• Provide architectural input, technical direction, and mentorship for advanced low-power mixed-signal circuit design and optimization.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in mixed-signal and high-performance applications.
• Proven skill and experience in analog and mixed-signal IC design.
• Expertise in high-sigma OCV analysis and variability effects on advanced process nodes.
• Expertise in low-power design principles and techniques.
• Proficiency with EDA and IC design and verification tools, including ICADV, Spectre, HSPICE, and AMS, with the ability to adapt to company-specific tools.
• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics, or equivalent expert-level experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and provide technical direction and mentorship.
