2027 TFS Data Science Internship

Location: hirify.global Headquarters, Plano, Texas, United States. Approximately 12 weeks onsite from May to August 2027.

What you will do

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify key questions about customers and customer value.
• Extract and wrangle data from internal and external systems using SQL, Python, R, and related tools.
• Analyze data and build, manage, and deploy analytical models and solutions.
• Support projects in sales and marketing, credit risk, residual value, customer management and collections, finance and HR, insurance, or manufacturing.
• Create visualizations and fixed reports using Tableau, Power BI, and other tools, and prepare PowerPoint presentations with recommendations.
• Develop analytical project plans and participate in project planning and prioritization sessions.

Requirements

• Must be within one year of completing a Master’s or Ph.D. in a heavily analytical discipline.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have the right to work in the United States and must not require hirify.global sponsorship for immigration-related employment now or in the future.
• Minimum GPA of 2.7.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Python, including NumPy and Pandas, scikit-learn, R, and/or SQL.
• Experience applying statistical and machine learning techniques to solve problems.
• Familiarity with logistic regression, time series analysis, experimental design, generalized linear models, mixed modeling, multivariate statistics, large-scale predictive modeling, CHAID and decision trees, gradient boosted trees, random forests, and neural networks.
• Ability to solve problems, think creatively, learn, grow, present analysis results, and make recommendations to leadership.
