Global AV Events and Production Engineer

Location: Hybrid role with preferred office locations in San Francisco, California, or Denver, Colorado; on-site AV support for company events is required. Availability during core business hours is required.

Salary: $111,000–$147,996 per year, with potential eligibility for equity and discretionary bonus programs.

What you will do

• Provide on-site AV support and live streaming for All Hands, Sales Kickoff, Company Kickoff, QBRs, Executive Summits, and other company events.
• Design, install, configure, upgrade, and decommission AV systems across global offices in partnership with Workplace.
• Collaborate with external AV vendors and support Communications and Events teams during customer-facing and internal events.
• Develop and maintain AV standards, documentation, training, conference-room systems, and global equipment inventory.
• Research and pilot new AV products to recommend future enhancements and guide adoption decisions.
• Participate in service-desk triage by monitoring the queue, categorizing and prioritizing requests, resolving issues, and escalating work with clear context.

Requirements

• 5+ years of AV experience, including designing and deploying integrated AV systems across global corporate offices.
• Experience in a service desk, IT support, or help desk environment, including triaging, prioritizing, and escalating requests against SLAs.
• Experience building trust with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Experience scoping large efforts, prioritizing competing demands, and negotiating timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently across multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and video-conferencing platforms such as Zoom and Teams; Jira is a plus.

Nice to have

• Certification in A/V technology.
• Experience using data-driven metrics to guide AV technology investment and measure program performance.
• Experience translating stakeholder requirements into an actionable roadmap and driving improvements at local-office and global-program levels.
• Experience running technology pilots and evaluations that informed adoption decisions.
• Experience consulting directly with event organizers on technical requirements and keeping them informed before and during live events.
