Data Center Manager - Warren, OH

Location: Warren, Ohio, United States; 100% onsite; flexibility to work in a 24/7 operational environment, participate in on-call rotations, and provide after-hours support.

Base salary: $95,000–$105,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits based on eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead data center technicians in server maintenance, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and daily operations.
• Develop and implement operational best practices to maximize efficiency and uptime.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on client projects and service delivery.
• Inspect and audit data center equipment to maintain performance and reliability.
• Respond to and resolve technical issues and emergencies while minimizing downtime.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and collaborate with management on performance and scalability initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data center operations, including at least 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and cooling systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Experience with data center management tools and software.
• Excellent time management, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a team.
• Proficiency with the Linux operating system.
• Ability to meet all physical requirements with reasonable accommodations, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in elevated locations.
• Quick decision-making ability and strong task-prioritization skills.
• Access to export-controlled information requires U.S.-person status, eligibility without export authorization, or eligibility and reasonable likelihood of obtaining the required U.S. export authorization.

Nice to have

• Hands-on or education-based experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• 5+ years of data center experience.
• Computer networking experience.
• Experience with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• CompTIA Server+, Network+, or equivalent certification.
