Data Center Construction - Mid to Senior Project Manager (Data Centers)

Location: Edmonton, Canada; approximately 4–5 days per week onsite, subject to client needs.

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 per year, commensurate with experience; base salary may be supplemented by bonuses, a 401(k) match, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Independently manage the full scope of projects while managing components of other projects.
• Lead and mentor project teams while managing schedules, scope, and budgets.
• Manage project risks, contingency planning, and schedule and budget recovery planning.
• Act as a trusted owner’s representative, maintaining the client’s vision and guiding informed decisions.
• Manage invoicing and collections and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Collaborate with clients, A&E professionals, contractors and general contractors, vendors, and internal teams to gather requirements, assess needs, and resolve complex challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management with a thorough understanding of the building design and construction process.
• Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience managing critical-environment construction projects, such as data centers, laboratories, or hospitals.
• Experience with MEP in ground-up construction.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
