Deployment & Applications Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; onsite 5 days a week when not actively on a deployment, with up to 75% travel to deployment sites.

Salary: $102,000–$121,500 per year in Massachusetts.

What you will do

• Lead onsite deployments of Infinite Kitchens and act as the primary onsite contact.
• Coordinate internal teams, general contractors, and external vendors while identifying and resolving project risks and roadblocks.
• Build and improve project management, deployment tracking, maintenance processes, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Hardware and Software Engineers in the lab on projects, tests, product development, prototypes, and test plans.
• Project manage and execute internal tests of new and existing products and suggest improvements to internal software tools.
• Lead and mentor a small team of technicians.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience leading technical teams onsite in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Experience or knowledge related to engineering, mechatronics, industrial automation systems, and their deployment in commercial environments.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills for collaboration with internal teams and third parties.
• Ability to reprioritize tasks dynamically, learn quickly, adapt to ambiguity, and establish clear objectives.
• High proficiency with project management tools and techniques, such as Jira.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, task tracking, and continuous process optimization.
• Ability to work under pressure and travel flexibly to deployment sites.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
