Senior Business Analyst/Architect (PLM)

Location: Hybrid, Grand Rapids, MI, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Base pay range: $96,000–$140,800 per year.

What you will do

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities.
• Lead workshops, interviews, and working sessions to gather and document requirements, business cases, process flows, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Analyze business processes, identify optimization and automation opportunities, and assess business impact, risks, dependencies, and implementation considerations.
• Design end-to-end business and system solutions, translating business requirements into functional and technical designs aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Define integration strategies, data flows, system interactions, application architecture, and product data flows across PLM, ERP, and engineering platforms.
• Support testing, user acceptance testing, solution validation, application issue resolution, and collaboration with development, infrastructure, security, and vendor teams.
• Support the global digital thread strategy and end-to-end traceability from product definition through deployment and lifecycle support.
• Define requirements for standard products, configurable products, third-party resale items, and project-specific materials, including product structures, BOMs, costing data, and lifecycle information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Solution Architecture, Enterprise Applications, or related disciplines.
• Experience with Siemens Teamcenter, NX, Design Center, PLM platforms, and engineering data management solutions.
• Experience with SAP integration and engineering-to-manufacture business processes.
• Experience leading requirements gathering and solution design for complex business initiatives.
• Experience working with cross-functional global teams and delivering enterprise-scale business and technology solutions.
• Business process modeling, process improvement, requirements management, and documentation.
• Systems integration, application architecture, data modeling, and information flow design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States is required.
