Data Management Senior Analyst

Location: Columbus, OH, United States; office-based. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Immigration sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Work with business partners to define requirements for data use, analysis, and quality.
• Perform complex data analysis, validation, quality assurance, and data metric monitoring.
• Develop and distribute advanced and recurring data reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, governance, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams on data-related projects.
• Provide mentorship to junior analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in data-related operations, business operations, or process support roles.

Nice to have

• Advanced proficiency with data management tools and technical experience using them.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality principles, best practices, and processes.
• Experience with data intake, validation, reconciliation, and exception handling at scale.
• Ability to design, document, and optimize operational workflows and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to identify root causes of data issues and recommend sustainable solutions.
• Understanding of DataOps and DevOps operational styles.
• Working knowledge of available data sources and their relationships.
• Microsoft Office proficiency and ability to learn new programs and systems quickly.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, listening, interpersonal, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies on the job.
• Financial services background.
