Associate Software Engineer (React)

Location: Chicago, IL / Hybrid. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship.

Salary: $99,600–$169,200 USD base pay annually.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using ReactJS.
• Build reusable UI components and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, backend developers, and QA teams.
• Ensure applications are responsive, secure, and optimized across browsers and devices.
• Write maintainable code, conduct unit testing, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Contribute to Agile activities including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and application quality improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience.
• Banking-domain experience and the ability to support multiple applications and handle multiple issues or requests concurrently.
• Frontend experience with ReactJS, JavaScript ES6+, Redux, React Hooks, Context API, Bootstrap, Node JS, HTML/CSS, Yarn, and NPM.
• SQL experience.
• GitHub and cloud deployment experience.
• Testing experience with Jest and React Testing Framework.

Nice to have

• Java 8–21, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, JPA, Hibernate, and SQL.
• Kafka and JMS messaging.
• Next JS.
• Multi-threading and performance tuning.
• Azure deployments and CI/CD with Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
