General Manager

Location: Augusta, GA, United States; onsite facility management. Travel may be required, including support for local or non-local CAT events.

What you will do

• Lead planning, organizing, staffing, execution, and control of all facility operations.
• Recruit, train, develop, retain, and hold staff accountable while building an engaged, high-performing team.
• Manage daily office and outside yard operations, including sub-hauler capacity and logistical requirements.
• Maintain compliance with county, state, EPA, OSHA, Department of Motor Vehicle, quality, equipment, and safety requirements.
• Manage buyer, seller, and internal customer relationships while communicating goals, risks, and initiatives across the organization.
• Understand the facility profit and loss statement and identify opportunities to increase revenue and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of management experience; military or other relevant experience is preferred.
• Proven record of driving operational excellence and achieving corporate goals.
• Experience supporting change initiatives and helping teams adapt positively and effectively.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, critical-thinking, decision-making, listening, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines or productivity goals, remain positive and motivated, and maintain a strong sense of urgency.
• Valid driver's license.
