Director, Vertical Operations (Electronics)

Location: On-site at the hirify.global Center in Austin, Minnesota, at least four days per week. Relocation may be authorized. Travel may include up to 10%.

Expected compensation: $287,281–$351,122, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Translate the Electronics Vertical President’s vision into strategic priorities across Consumer Electronics, Semiconductors, and Datacenter markets.
• Govern the operating model, management operating system, business-review cadence, forecasts, and performance-management framework.
• Act as a strategic advisor to the President and primary interface with corporate and Business Group functions.
• Develop executive narratives, board materials, strategy plans, business reviews, forecasts, and performance communications.
• Identify strategic risks and execution gaps, mobilize corrective action, and drive OKRs and operating-plan initiatives.
• Align Sales, Application Engineering, Finance, Strategy, and other cross-functional stakeholders while strengthening organizational engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, economics, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in strategy, business operations, or strategy-and-operations leadership.
• Experience translating executive vision into measurable execution across complex, multi-sector businesses.
• Experience building executive operating cadences, business reviews, forecast reviews, and OKR or performance frameworks.
• Track record of producing board-ready narratives and influencing senior cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• MBA or advanced degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Industry experience in Electronics or related sectors.
• Experience in a global, matrixed organization serving multiple business units or verticals.
