Manager, Data & AI Platforms (AI)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, USA; campus-based hybrid role requiring 4 days per week onsite.

Base salary: $98,340.00–$201,900.00 annually.

What you will do

• Manage the day-to-day operation, governance, standards, policies, and procedures of enterprise Data & AI platforms.
• Drive platform adoption, utilization, value realization, cost optimization, financial accountability, access management, governance, and compliance.
• Lead the analytics strategy and guide the team on tools, methodologies, goals, deadlines, and consistent platform usage.
• Oversee predictive models, data pipelines, analytical databases, and analytics workflows, contributing to development when needed.
• Translate business needs into technical plans, identify data sources, communicate findings, and develop implementation tactics with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Recruit, train, coach, manage performance, develop, and retain team members while supporting continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, mathematics, or statistics preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, BI Analyst, or Data Scientist; one discipline may carry more weight depending on team composition and goals.
• Experience with analytics programming languages including SQL, R, or Python.
• Experience with modern BI toolsets such as Snowflake, Databricks, Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, or equivalent.
• In-depth understanding of data profiling, statistical analysis, data modeling, data architecture principles, and infrastructure requirements across on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Experience extracting, loading, and leveraging data from data warehouses, transactional databases, object stores, and API-based environments.
• Strong problem-solving, programming, and project management skills, including the ability to decompose complex analytical and technical problems into business solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all corporate levels and external contacts.
• Ability to think conceptually, handle ambiguity, solve complex problems, and make thoughtful recommendations.
• Demonstrated mentoring and coaching skills for developing technical implementation employees.
