Engineer II (Industrial Process & Quality)

Location: West Point, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite production environment

Salary: $93,600–$108,200 per year

What you will do

• Lead investigations into operational deviations, assess product impact, identify root causes, and define corrective and preventive actions.
• Author and maintain SOPs, batch records, change-control documents, and validation protocols.
• Provide on-floor technical troubleshooting for process, equipment, automation, safety, and human-factor issues.
• Manage continuous-improvement projects, experimental protocols, and pilot studies to improve efficiency, cost, and consistency.
• Coordinate project timelines, compliance milestones, customer delivery dates, risk escalation, and remediation plans.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Regulatory teams to maintain GMP compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
• Two to four years of professional experience in manufacturing or a technical production environment; relevant co-op or internship experience is considered.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and project-management skills.
• Experience with deviation management, root cause analysis, and change control.
• Ability to work in a high-paced production environment and provide on-floor technical support.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP or Power BI.
• Background in highly regulated manufacturing, such as medical devices, specialized chemicals, or high-complexity consumer goods.
