What you will do

  • Lead investigations into operational deviations to determine root causes and assess product impact.
  • Define and execute Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs) to prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Author and manage critical technical documentation, including SOPs, batch records, and validation protocols.
  • Provide on-the-floor technical troubleshooting for complex operational and process-related issues.
  • Manage continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency and reduce costs via pilot studies.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure strict adherence to GMP.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical discipline.
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in a manufacturing or technical production environment.
  • Strong technical writing and communication abilities.
  • Must be based in or able to work onsite in West Point.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Deviation Management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Change Control.
  • Proficiency with SAP or data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Background in highly regulated sectors like medical devices or specialized chemicals.
