Associate Director - Diversified Industries, Portfolio Management

Location: Columbus, OH; office workplace type.

Salary: $70,000–$140,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an applicable incentive compensation plan.

What you will do

• Underwrite complex commercial loans in accordance with Huntington credit policies.
• Monitor an assigned portfolio of commercial loans, identify emerging risks, escalate concerns, and maintain accurate risk ratings.
• Manage portfolio administration, including delinquencies, collateral exceptions, borrowing base and covenant compliance, and product renewals.
• Participate in virtual or in-person client calls with Relationship Management and other bank partners when applicable.
• Research market and industry trends, review and negotiate credit documentation with legal counsel, and collaborate with internal product partners.
• Assist with training and mentoring Analyst- and Associate-level colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of underwriting experience in a commercial banking environment.

Nice to have

• High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Formal credit training.
• Experience in the syndicated loan market.
• Proficiency in S&P Capital IQ.
