Underwriter III - Corporate

Location: In-office in Pittsburgh, PA; Dallas, TX; or East Brunswick, NJ

Base salary: $86,250–$172,500 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Prepare loan offerings and credit scorecards for transactions of varying complexity.
• Analyze creditworthiness, collateral strength, financial condition, risks, and mitigants for transaction parties.
• Manage ongoing credit risk for assigned portfolios and make or recommend credit decisions.
• Gather information from internal and external customers and complete pre-approval and post-approval activities.
• Confirm regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, coach other underwriters, and support special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant direct industry experience.
• Knowledge of credit analysis, underwriting, financial analysis, risk assessment, and credit decision-making.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, critical thinking, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not available.
