Senior Construction Field Manager

Location: McCarran, Nevada, United States; onsite construction field role

What you will do

• Lead daily meetings with subcontractors and construction crews, coordinate production resources, and resolve complex cross-scope conflicts.
• Develop work plans and scheduling strategies, track production, schedule, budget, quantities, and project financial reporting.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement, subcontractor coordination, permits, inspections, certificates, and project close-out documentation.
• Coordinate field layout, utility and commercial line marking, equipment and vendor installations, and compliance with plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Conduct Job Hazard Analyses, participate in safety meetings, and support a safe and compliant construction environment.
• Mentor, train, review, and provide technical guidance to Project Engineers and other junior staff while representing project engineering in leadership and owner-facing meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of construction engineering, scheduling, or design experience, including mentoring or providing technical oversight to junior engineers.
• Advanced knowledge of cost coding, cost savings, budgeting, and project financial implications.
• Advanced knowledge of scheduling processes and industry best practices.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, and applicable project standards.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to build relationships and influence others without direct authority.
• Ability to assume responsibility, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter motivated to learn and grow knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and provide technical direction to Project Engineers and other junior team members.
• Construction engineering experience or knowledge.

• Knowledge of construction scheduling and production time management.
