Senior Web Tracking Engineer (JavaScript)

Location: Based in Lithuania with a hybrid setup in the Kaunas or Vilnius office; based elsewhere in Europe with fully remote work as a contractor under a B2B or service provider agreement.

Salary: From €5,500 gross per month, depending on experience and skills.

What you will do

• Design and maintain server-side tracking solutions for accurate measurement across platforms.
• Ensure reliable conversion signal delivery to Meta, Google Ads, and Amplitude.
• Investigate and resolve complex tracking issues across devices and domains, including ambiguous problems.
• Collaborate with PPC, product, data, Performance Marketing, Affiliates, Product Analytics, and development teams on data quality and measurement.
• Maintain accurate and privacy-compliant tracking in line with data governance standards.
• Improve the quality, reliability, and scalability of collected data.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience implementing and maintaining web tracking.
• Experience implementing server-side tracking using server-side GTM or an equivalent solution.
• Strong working knowledge of conversion APIs, including Meta CAPI and Google Ads conversion imports, deduplication, and identity-matching logic.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Amplitude.
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals and understanding of HTML, CSS, and web technologies.
• Solid understanding of GDPR and its practical impact on tracking implementation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to own ambiguous problems without a fully predefined scope.

Nice to have

• Experience with containerized infrastructure such as Kubernetes/GKE and Docker.
• Experience with SQL and data visualization tools.
• Exposure to analytics or tracking platforms beyond GA4, GTM, and Amplitude.
