Senior Digital Analytics Engineer (Web Tracking & Tag Management)

Location: Portugal, remote. Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered.

What you will do

• Translate stakeholder measurement requirements into precise technical tracking specifications.
• Configure and maintain client-side and server-side data collection with Tealium, including integrations with Adobe Analytics and other downstream platforms.
• Assess tracking setups and define events, data layer requirements, and event schemas.
• Validate implementations by investigating defects, data quality issues, and consent-related discrepancies.
• Ensure tracking compliance with consent management protocols using OneTrust.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze tracking performance, recommend improvements, and maintain documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a hybrid reporting analyst and front-end engineer.
• Strong JavaScript skills beyond basic analytics implementation.
• Hands-on experience with Tealium iQ and Tealium EventStream.
• Knowledge of digital analytics platforms, preferably Adobe Analytics.
• Familiarity with data layer specifications and event schemas.
• Experience managing consent and tracking compliance through OneTrust.
• Communicative English.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Tag Manager or Adobe Launch.
• Experience with modern web frameworks such as React or Next.js.
• Certifications in analytics or tag management.
