Artificial Intelligence Engineer (Computer Vision)

Location: Milpitas, California, United States; onsite role.

Salary: $140,500–$238,900 annually.

What you will do

• Design, develop, modify, and diagnose complex machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
• Invent, prototype, and deploy image processing algorithms for semiconductor inspection and analytics systems.
• Train and deploy ML/AI models used in products.
• Create model architectures from scratch and modify loss functions.
• Apply object-oriented and functional programming in algorithm development.
• Work independently and collaboratively while communicating clearly in written and verbal formats.

Requirements

• Strong background in one or more of machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, or image processing.
• Familiarity with a common deep learning framework such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience training ML/AI models that have been deployed in a product.
• Ability to write model architectures from scratch and modify loss functions.
• Hands-on experience with object-oriented and functional programming.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• PhD-level degree with 0 years of work experience, or a master's-level degree with 2 years of related work experience, or a bachelor's-level degree with 4 years of related work experience.
