Senior Java Engineer OnePAM Integration Layer

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy new features across the full development lifecycle.
• Build and maintain OnePAM Integration Layer batch-processing tools supporting data loads, corrections, and reconciliations.
• Support production applications and deliver OIL 2.0 in line with domain-driven design and hexagonal architecture guidelines.
• Deploy and configure new features and releases in a controlled way, and manage monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and other teams on shared components, APIs, and OnePAM applications.
• Document systems and solutions, provide hands-on technical guidance to less experienced colleagues, and use AI tools and agentic development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an IT-related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a software developer.
• Java 21, Spring or Spring Boot, Maven or Gradle, experience with DevOps teams, and relational databases.
• Experience using AI code-generation tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
• Advanced English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring Batch.
• Experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery, and code-quality tools.
• Knowledge of domain-driven design.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Istio.
• Familiarity with IBM Master Data Management.
• Experience working in distributed teams.
