Senior Java Engineer (OnePAM Integration Layer)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy new features through the full development process.
• Build and maintain the OnePAM Integration Layer and batch processing tools for data loads, data corrections, and reconciliations.
• Support production applications and deliver OIL 2.0 in line with OnePAM’s domain-driven design and hexagonal architecture guidelines.
• Deploy and configure new features and releases, and manage monitoring tools for the team’s application portfolio.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and other teams on shared software components supporting APIs and applications in the OnePAM domain.
• Document systems and solutions, provide hands-on technical guidance to less experienced colleagues, and use AI tools and agentic development in daily work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an IT-related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a software developer.
• Java 21, Spring/Spring Boot, and Maven or Gradle.
• Experience working with DevOps teams and relational databases.
• Experience using AI code-generation tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude.
• Advanced English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring Batch.
• Knowledge of continuous integration, continuous delivery, and code quality tools.
• Knowledge of domain-driven design.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Istio.
• Familiarity with IBM Master Data Management.
• Experience working with distributed teams.
