Senior Analyst, Strategic Initiatives (Fintech)

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 annually, plus bonus

What you will do

• Build and maintain margin and unit economics analyses across products, channels, and partners, identifying profitability drivers and improvement levers.
• Identify and size growth markets through market sizing, competitive and industry intelligence, and prioritization of new geographies, verticals, and partner segments.
• Develop customer, contractor, and partner segmentation using internal and external data to inform targeting, pricing, and go-to-market priorities with Sales, Marketing, and Product.
• Build and automate forecasts, KPI dashboards, and recurring reporting using AI tools such as Claude, SQL, and Python.
• Translate analyses into executive-ready presentations and recommendations, track initiative performance against business cases, and identify opportunities to embed AI into workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Analytics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 2–4 years of experience in analytics, strategy consulting, investment banking, FP&A, corporate strategy, or a high-growth fintech.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including the ability to break down ambiguous problems, form hypotheses, and reach conclusions with incomplete data.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; working proficiency in SQL is preferred.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude in day-to-day analytical work, with the ability to explain specific workflows built or automated.
• Ability to explain complex analysis in simple, plain language to audiences across all functions.
• Working knowledge of lending or fintech fundamentals, including unit economics, credit performance, and customer acquisition, or the ability to ramp quickly.
• Intellectual curiosity, ownership, bias for action, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
• Collaborative, low-ego approach; discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential financial and customer data.
