Location: Altamira, Mexico. Fully onsite.

What you will do

• Screen and interview internal and external applicants, identify staffing needs with line managers, and support new-hire orientation.
• Resolve employee relations and performance issues with employees and managers, and support the Performance Based Management system.
• Support training, career development, succession planning, and organizational planning activities.
• Provide salary administration, compensation planning, benefits administration, and employee support.
• Maintain accurate employee data in the HR information system and support HRMIS activities.
• Support expatriation, repatriation, visa matters, HR policy administration, legal compliance, and the Responsible Care Management System.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or university degree and at least five years of experience in Human Resource Generalist activities.
• Knowledge of HR specialties including benefits, compensation, employment, employee relations, HRMIS, data protection, administration, and organizational development.
• PC skills, including MS Office, Lotus Notes, MS Project, and the ability to generate and develop reports.
• Ability to provide coaching and career counseling, manage Performance Based Management activities, and handle sensitive employee and manager issues through strong communication skills.
• Ability to facilitate meetings and deliver training.
• Ability to work effectively in teams.
