Senior Project Implementation Manager, Clean Energy

Location: Newton Office, United States; regular travel to project sites required.

Salary: $136,200–$204,200 per year.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of clean energy and EV charging infrastructure projects, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility analyses for DC Fast Charging, solar PV, battery energy storage systems, and emerging technologies.
• Coordinate construction, real estate, operations, IT, sustainability, contractors, utilities, and permitting authorities throughout project delivery.
• Develop strategic roadmaps for EV and clean energy infrastructure and support broader organizational initiatives.
• Manage vendors, contractors, and suppliers, including performance oversight and collaboration with internal project leadership.
• Track documentation, schedules, budgets, expenses, risks, KPIs, change orders, incentives, credits, and project closeout; communicate progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant project experience, including substantial ownership of clean energy or EV infrastructure deployments, particularly DC Fast EV charging stations, solar, and Battery Energy Storage projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related field.
• End-to-end project accountability covering feasibility, site assessment, design coordination, permitting, utility interconnection, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational handoff.
• Advanced ability to sketch, read, and independently interpret construction plan sets.
• Strong knowledge of energy management practices and experience working with utilities.
• Excellent project management, multitasking, prioritization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
• Strong existing relationships in the electric infrastructure space.
• Highly organized, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility; able to travel to sites regularly; passionate about clean energy infrastructure.
