Commercial Project Manager

Location: Hybrid remote/office in Lodz, Lodzkie, Poland; occasional travel required in line with project requirements.

What you will do

• Co-lead complex international compression projects with the Technical Project Manager from handover through the end of warranty.
• Manage commercial project performance, including revenue, margin, cash flow, working capital, forecasting, and balance sheet positions.
• Maintain project accounting, books and records, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare project reviews and status and forecast reports, while identifying and managing risks and opportunities.
• Manage contractual obligations, notifications, invoicing, guarantees, bonds, securities, claims, and change orders.
• Coordinate with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, Operations, customers, partners, suppliers, and regional organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering Management, or a comparable field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in Commercial Project Management, Project Controlling, Finance, Accounting, Audit, Project Management, or a related business function.
• Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, project accounting, financial reporting, and project controlling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in complex international projects and commercial structures.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in international and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills, ownership, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel occasionally according to project requirements.

Nice to have

• Practical experience in contract administration, claim and change order management, negotiations, and risk management.
• Experience with digital reporting or analytics tools.
• Experience in industrial project business, energy, EPC, oil and gas, compression, turbomachinery, or infrastructure projects.
• Additional language skills.
